About Katchung! – Your Web Journey Begins Here

SteveRush

Welcome to katchung.com, your portal to a world where web design meets innovation, hosted near the heart of the picturesque Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Let me introduce myself; I’m Steve, the creative force behind katchung!, and I’m here to craft digital experiences that transcend the ordinary.

From Eureka Springs to the World

Nestled in the Ozark Mountains, Eureka Springs is more than just my hometown; it’s my muse. Surrounded by nature’s beauty, I draw inspiration from this unique corner of the world to design websites that are not just aesthetically pleasing but also deeply connected to the essence of your brand.

The Web Design Maestro

With a passion for design running through my veins, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering the art of web design. Every pixel, every layout, and every line of code that flows through katchung.com is a testament to my unwavering commitment to excellence. First I received my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. Then a 20-year career in the RAID storage industry. While working in RAID storage I began learning more about HTML and CSS. Next, I needed to learn about advertising and design. After completing web design school, I received my data analytics certification. Then I wanted to learn another programming language so I taught myself to code in Python. I then mastered SEO and eCommerce through a combination of working with businesses, mentors, and classes. Next, I moved on to business achieving a Masters in Business Management with a focus on eCommerce. Then I invented a product and created a website and have since slowly perfected that product and raised my website’s search ranking through what I’ve learned. So you see: I understand what a business owner needs and can relate to many of the problems you are likely facing.

Beyond the Pixels

Web design is more than just aesthetics; it’s about creating an immersive online journey for your audience. At katchung!, I understand the importance of user experience, SEO optimization, and seamless functionality. Your website isn’t just a digital presence; it’s a story waiting to be told, and I’m here to help you write it.

Local Roots, Global Vision

While Eureka Springs is my home, my vision is global. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from diverse industries and corners of the world, infusing their websites with creativity and functionality that transcend geographical boundaries.

The Process

No design concept, no fancy bells-n-whistles intended to try to impress you with my technical and design skills. First, we meet, either via email, on the phone, in-person, via Zoom, whatever works for you. Then I ask you some very specific questions with the intent to get you to explicitly detail and discuss the problem your business is having. My question set has been fine-tuned and honed to the point where you’ll get everything out on the table, nothing will be missed, and I’ll have a complete picture of what the actual issues are.

From there I go to work doing what I do best: coming up with solutions to problems.

Next we meet again and see if what I have come up with suits your needs. No high-pressure sales, no technical mumbo-jumbo, a frank and open talk about your business problem and a potential way to solve it.

That’s it. This is the part of the web page like the end of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” where Matthew Broderick comes back on the screen in his bathrobe telling moviegoers to “Go home”
